Chef Chong Wei Tzeh, Teaching Fellow of the School of Hospitality came forward as the champion at the Global Pastry Chefs Challenge – Malaysia Region and participated at the Global Chefs Challenge (Asia Selection), which was held recently in Bangkok.

Fifty aspiring youths from Kuen Cheng High School visited Sunway University to attend talks and workshops by the School of Hospitality (SOH).

Learning Links is a new marketing effort, where 450 high school students from all over Klang Valley are invited to come to Sunway University and attend workshops conducted by lecturers.

Practice Professor in Culinary Arts, Prof Chef Patrick Siau Chi Yin along with the team of culinary experts specially handcrafted the gala dinner at the 2^nd International Conference of Health-Oriented Tourism & Hospitality (ICoHOTH), held at Athanor, School of Hospitality.

Together with University of the Sunshine Coast and Sunway Medical Centre, the School of Hospitality Sunway University co-organised and hosted a three-day conference at Sunway University. The conference hosted guests from various international locations, such as Japan, South Korea, China, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Hungary, South Africa and Malaysia.
