Sunway Business School was established in 2006 when it was first known as the Department of Business and Management Studies in a university college setting. Its parent institution, Sunway University College, officially became Sunway University in 2011.

Sunway Business School comprises five Academic Departments and Two Centres:

6. Centre for Commercial Law and Justice
7. Centre for Accountability and Governance Research

We offer a wide range of programmes across various disciplines, such as accounting, business analytics, entrepreneurship, finance, global supply chain, international business, management, and marketing, from bachelor’s degree to doctoral degree level.

Sunway Business School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB accreditation is the gold standard in business education and is only held by less than 6% of business schools worldwide.

Sunway University has gained an international reputation for academic and research excellence in business, as evidenced by its performance in the latest world university subject rankings: Top 301-400 in Business and Economics by the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023 and Top 451-500 in Business and Management Studies by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2022.
