The Department of Psychology of Sunway University held a Joint Symposium on Mental Health Literacy with the Department of Psychology from St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Bangalore, India on 27 November 2018.
As part of the experiential learning approach in the School of Hospitality, the degree students who enrolled in the Business of Tourism and Hospitality subject module went for a field trip to the Banyan Tree Resort recently.
The Diploma in Events Management students (Jan & Aug 2017 intake) recently organised a two-day Halloween-themed event to commemorate the School of Hospitality’s 20th Anniversary.
The purpose of this fundraising event is to provide support for the National Pastry Team to compete at the most prestigious pastry competition in the world, The Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie in Lyon, France in the year 2019.
A group of 14 students from the Diploma in Events Management travelled to The Plantation, located in Bentong, Pahang. The Plantation is an eco-friendly resort located deep in the tropical forest.

In November 2018, Professors Kenneth Laidlaw and Eugene Mullan of the Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR) group, a clinical training and research unit within the Department of Psychology at the University of Exeter, UK, visited the Department of Psychology at Sunway University.
