
Dr Arsalan Najmi is associated with Sunway Business School as a Lecturer in the Department of Management. He holds PhD in Supply Chain Management from Faculty of Business and Economics of Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. He is also a Gold Medallist in Master’s in Business Administration from IQRA University-Pakistan. He started his professional career as an Entrepreneur in a Wholesale and Retail Business in an I.T. Industry in 2006. Since then, he has a keen interest on the role of End-Consumers in the Supply Chain and the other issues pertaining to contemporary supply chain settings and management. His current research is focused on issues related to Halal Supply Chain, Sustainable Consumption, and Reverse Logistics. He has published several research articles in Thomson Reuters Web of Science Indexed Journals including Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management; British Food Journal; Operations Management Research; Resources, Conservation and Recycling; Environmental Science and Pollution Research; Journal of Material Cycles and Waste Management; Journal of Islamic Marketing and others.
