Professor Barry Eichengreen is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (Cambridge, Massachusetts) and Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London, England). He was the Pitt Professor of American History and Institutions, University of Cambridge from 2014 to 2015. In 1997 to 1998 he was Senior Policy Advisor at the International Monetary Fund.
