Recently, we were privileged to have Hungary’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Her Excellency Dr Petra Ponevács-Pana at a forum, "The Brief Introduction to Hungary and Hungarians", where she shared her insights about scholarships the Hungarian government offers for Malaysian students in the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum scheme.

Sunway University becomes the first non government linked private Malaysian University to successfully acquire business accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for Sunway Business School.

During the week of 10-15 October, 2022, Sunway University collaborated with the Embassy of Malaysia, Hungary at the Universities of Nyiregyhaza, Miskolc and Debrecen to promote opportunities for transnational higher education. 

Congratulations to the team comprising four BSc (Hons) Conventions and Events Management students from the School of Hospitality and Service Management at Sunway University who will be representing Malaysia at the AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge 2022. 

 In the recent Battle of The Chefs (BOTC) that was held in Gurney Paragon Mall Penang, Chef Yee Suet Rene and Young Chef Chong Xin Ye (student) participated in the category ‘Class M03: California High Tea Set’.

Teamwork, great communication, compatibility, and support were the success factors to the Silver Medal won by Chef Norhafizatul Akma and Chef Nur Fadillah at the Battle of the Chefs (BOTC) Penang, who competed in the Class 27: Malaysian Malay Heritage Cuisine Team Challenge.
