The School of Hospitality students and teaching fellows along with Camilya Aina (BSc in Hotel and Restaurant Management, KLMUC) and Chef Muhd Fhaizal Mustafa (Head Chef, Red Bean Bag) made up Team Malaysia at the recently held Shanghai International Young Chefs Cup (IYCC). The Shanghai (IYCC) is part of the 2019 FHC China International Culinary Arts Competition which sees over 600 participants to compete in over 25 categories.

18 students from Diploma in Events Management, together with their module lecturer Ms Ng Siew Cheng recently organised an incentive tour to Janda Baik, a highland plains destination, 600 metres above sea level, located in a rather unexplored natural tropical rain forest in the state of Pahang.
It has been a nostalgic field trip to Georgetown, a UNESCO’s World Heritage site in Penang for the School of Hospitality’s Year 2 students from both BSc (Hons) in Conventions and Events Management & BSc (Hons) in International Hospitality Management programmes, under the subject Sustainable Tourism Development.
