Fiona Goh Sze Zhen, a Sunway University graduate from the BSc (Hons) Psychology Programme recently came back from the US to speak on the topic “Contributing to the Society of Autism” on 18 December 2019, at Sunway iLabs Makerspace.
The Department of Psychology recently hosted Professor Siân Coker from Department of Clinical Psychology, Norwich Medical School, at the University of East Anglia (UEA), as a Visiting Professor at Sunway University.
The Department of Psychology at the School of Science and Technology, Sunway University hosted a talk on “Specific Methods to Promote Sentence Productions in Japanese English Learners” by Professor Tomokazu Nakayama on 6 December 2019. Prof Nakayama is from Center for Language Education and International Programs, Jissen Women’s University, Tokyo, Japan. The talk attracted 20 participants from Sunway University.
Passionate entrepreneur and Psychology alumnus of Sunway University, William Chew, recently returned from the UK for a talk on developing his brand of authentic Malaysian chili paste, Mak Tok. William became famous for his appearance on the BBC’s entrepreneurship TV series Dragons’ Den, and winning funding from one of the investor “dragons” on the show.
