Shamirul (BBA, MBA and PhD) is a Lecturer in Management at Sunway Business School, Sunway University. Before this, Shamirul was a tutor at Taylor's University, where he received PhD in Business. His research interests include strategic human resource management, human capital, and employee well-being. He has presented his research in academic conferences at University of Leeds and Taylor's University. His work has appeared in International Journal of Educational Management, European Journal of Training and Development, and International Journal of Workplace Health Management. Shamirul is on editorial review board for International Journal of Bank Marketing and a reviewer for numerous journals.
