Dr Jaspal Singh is an associate member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants, and holds a doctoral degree in Accounting. He has been in the academia for 20 years, as an academic, administrator and researcher attached to four reputable universities. Before joining the academia, he has held positions in the management accounting division in a multinational corporation and in the accounting information systems division in the public sector.
