Dr. Fiona Wong produced an original piece of artwork titled "Soaring High" using ink and acrylic paint on canvas. 

As a keynote speaker at the ASEAN Education Cities Conference (AECC) on the 11th and 12th of February, Dr. Goh Yi Sheng from the Department of Art, Design, and Media unveiled the trailer for "UNDERSTAND".

During the period 27 February to 2 March, Distinguished Professor David A. Bradley (Head, Research Centre for Applied Physics and Radiation Technologies, SET), met in Doha together with other members of the QEERI Scientific Advisory Committee, SAC. This group of six appointees, offering perspectives covering the activities of QEERI, has among its membership individuals from as far west as Denver to as far east as Japan.

Professor Ir Denny Ng Kok Sum, the new Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology is a chemical engineer and belongs to the top 2% in his field according to the Stanford list.
